There has been some talk on social media of doing a minutes applause in the 60th minute for my dad at Rotherham on Saturday. I'm not sure how people would feel about this but I'd just like to say it would be a real good way for me And my younger brother to say our goodbyes to my dad surrounded by reds fans.... He loved travelling to away games and spending time with the people we made friends with following Barnsley over the years. I do have a problem though my dad was getting tickets Saturday morning for the Rotherham game but in a true Yorkshire mans way he has done anything to get out of paying. So if anyone hears of two tickets going spare please could you let me know. I'd be grateful if you could share and tell your friends about this.......
Sincere condolences on your loss. As you're having difficulty getting Rotherham tickets I wonder if it would be more appropriate for a round of applause to be done at Oakwell - Wolves match?
You might be right.... It was a friend of my dad's who's organised it so I just passed it on but maybe I'll have a word with him....
