How come we've not heard anything about Andy and Angus being offered new four and a half year deals this month ?. It should've been done two maybe three months ago and we've still not heard anything, I can only imagine the reason we've not heard is because it hasn't happened, and if it hasn't happened why are we not learning from our mistakes.

Maybe because the chief executive was not very good at his job, that's why he's been given the boot!!
And once we get a more experienced person at the helm then maybe the club will look at this quickly.
However I think the days of 4 and a half year contracts are over. 3 seems to be the max these days.. and 2 the "norm".
I don't think the players would even want to sign 4 and a half year deals.

Bit harsh on Linton, l thought he did great at the club in his original role in Marketing. He probably made more money for the club than anyone else has ever made in that role. It wasn't his fault he was shoehorned into the CEO role.

I imagine we will hear more on contract renewals once the transfer deadline as passed and quite rightly too. concentrate on selling and buying for the next week or so then sit down and nail some new contracts on the table.

I never said he was bad as his marketing job - I've publicly stated that the club is in the best position I've ever seen with regards to sponsorship.
he may have been shoehorned into the job.... but he wasn't good at it ... that much is very obvious
