Apparently agreed personal terms with Wendy's. So that's Rhodes, Forestieri, Fletcher, Hooper all before Winnall in the pecking order i reckon. Sorry Sam, that's you being used as a bit part player at best for the rest of the season. Short term gain, long term pain for him. On another note they also have Matias, Joao, Nuhiu all probably on stupid wages. It really does seem like S**t or bust for them.

So a fee of between £8m - £12m depending on who you believe and wages that must be £1m pa plus, maybe £2m over 3 or 4 years.

Price of tuna be going up soon I reckon.

In the good old days, SW's response would have been "8ollocks to this, I ain't warming the bench for anyone. Wrong move, what have I done" Think Howard, McIndoe, Leagueoneovic.

But in the obscene days of 2017, I am sure SW will purely be thinking "Hello bench, 90 mins to carefully plan how to spend this weeks £18k". I'm sure the blow of not playing is somewhat softened.

18k a week is probably more than any of us could ever dream of earning, but, I really do think he's messed up here, he hasn't looked at the bigger picture and his potential to get an even bigger pay day if he stuck it out with us until his contract runs out and has plenty more suitors and therefore probably double the alleged 18k he's earning now. I'm probably going over old ground here I know, but the Rhodes signing makes him look even more naieve than I first thought. We will never know for sure but I wouldn't bet against him being the lowest paid striker at the club!

He will not care one jot about running up massive debts trying to get Wednesday promoted.

    Wednesday lost £5m in 2014-2015

Since then they have a net transfer spend of circa £20m.

And of the players they have bought (19) imagine if they were paying each one £20k. Yes Abdi, Forristieri, Fletcher and Hooper are on more, but they have let a few fringe players go, then their expense have gone up by £20m.

With a total wealth of £700m how long does their owner give it with a club losing £30m a year?

If they don't make premiership within 3 years he'll jack in my opinion. Same with Villa owner.

I reckon he's on 40k a week at Boro' and I cant see him taking a pay cut , that's probably why not many clubs have been in for him because he simply isn't worth it . Hooper is on 30k a week . It's unbelievable what they a spending in wages just on strikers .

They can sign all the strikers they like but eventually the penny might drop that they have zilch creativity in their side.
Never mind.....hopefully they are well on the road to financial ruin. Fingers crossed.

    rumours say

that Forestieri will be gone in this window.... but that still keeps Winnall way down the order.

Thats not in pounds, it's dollars, so £560 million. It's also not the Wednesday owners it's is faffers and the rest of the family, i think there's also a second son. So how much of a cut does he have of the family wealth? The rate they are going it could be interesting.
