    He had signed for Wednesday last week. Done deal they said. Double announcement with Winnall... Yawn!

    Lets wait and see what happens.

    Sky interview after the game, didn't suggest he was going. What was he supposed to say, "that Steve Bruce is a right muppet... I wouldn't go to Villa if they paid me 4x my salary". No of course he's not instead gave a very diplomatic none committal answer.

    I cannot believe only Villa in the hunt. Wednesday wouldn't give up that easy and surely others are keen on him. I feel Villa are talking interest up in the media to engineer the deal

    They aren't the only team. There's lots of clubs interested according to Paul Heckingbottom in his post match interview after the game on Saturday. I think Villa are the only ones who have been so public.
