Reason why Leeds are looking to sell him: http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2017/01/2...leeds-united-must-sell-alex-mowatt-to-barnsl/ But deal will be held up until they have secured replacements: http://the72.co.uk/73787/leeds-line-replacement-midfielder-sale-barnsley/
They have to sell him to get some cash for him or he goes for nothing after all the work they have put into him. They will only sell him if they buy a replacement Which one is it
I work in Leeds, and spoke to a few Leeds fans today. One of them referees games from ages u12 up to the u23's and on occasion, Leeds u23's. He said Mowatt is a great lad, he's had the pleasure to referee him many times. He's a composed central midfielder who has a great touch, great passing range and is very good in possession. He rarely gives the ball away, likes to shoot on sight and is handy over a set piece. He feels that he is quite slow and sometimes looks like he's running in treacle and occasionally drifts out of games. He did say however though based on the team who played for us last weekend, he'd thrive in our team and thinks it would be a good move for all parties as Gary Monk doesn't appear to rate him. EH!!......Wait until a suitable replacement is brought in. What a way to run a footy club.......sell to first derisory offer then scrat around for a loan replacement......come on Leeds have a word with yourselves here!!
