Just seen his goal for Swansea today on SSN - what a stunner, and an arrogant, strutting celebration to go with it! I wonder if we have an add-on in the deal that pays out if they stay up this season? Would be nice.

Best scenario is they go down and Alfie still wants to play in the Premiership, if Swansea do a Villa we could have another decent sell on.
I can't see Swansea going down. They've definitely turned a corner since Clement took over. They look solid at the back and going forward, Sigurdsson and Llorente seem to have hit form. I read a few comments on the Swansea forum a week or two ago and they said pretty much the same (the bit about him not being the finished article). He's getting himself noticed so a couple of things are possible. He might go somewhere else for big money AND he might find himself partnering Stones for England. I hope we've been clever with this deal and that there is another windfall coming our way in a year or so.
I thought they all now have good sell on clauses. We're ok with those, it's the contracts and initial fees we've been struggling on. We did an all round good deal for Alfie.
Think now when we sell on assets aren't we always Mr 15%? Probably got that percentage in all three January sales as well as Mawson and Holgate.
