I thought Deacon had a brilliant game for Sutton and as the commentator said at the end of the game "he should be playing in League 1 or higher". He would be a great addition to our squad IMO.

He looked quick and direct but lack of end product was very apparent. Which I'm guessing is why he is where he is?
Might be worth a short term deal to see how we could develop him. He's also on the upper scale age wise for us at 25?

Yes, absolutely but with Barnsley coaching staff's great flair for bringing on uncut diamonds he could be a good fit for us. His age I think is a plus as he's been round the block a time or too and could be a useful asset when our chips are down. All in my opinion of course.

I only watched the first half but I thought his end product let him down big time.

Not sure if it was the occasion or what but otherwise he looked a handy player.

Charlie Bishop. Folk who frequented a previous incarnation of this board, will remember the 'Religious XI' thread, which took on a life of its own. Still, I think, the longest ever thread on the Barnsley forum.

Nah, that was surely the "Is there a God" thread

Closely followed by "True Reds In Luton tonight".

With "Right to Reply" a close third.
