    Am I missing something in this or what!? If people read it properly it says why it's being called the John stones fitness suite, it's to inspire the young players coming through what hardwork can get you.

    Yes Hassell and Foster have been fantastic for the club but the point being made is stones 18 months ago was nowhere to be seen its implying you give 100% and you can have the success therefore using Stones as a perfect example!

    It's not about overlooking the clubs stalwarts its about inspiring the future.

    People are never happy unless there is seemingly something to have a winge at

    Just to be clear, I'm not having a moan, I've no problem at all with this initiative. Calling the gym the John Stones Fitness Suite is perfectly fine by me.

    I was simply reacting to Hemsworth Tyke who wrote "What's Hassell done or Foster to be thought of as someone they want to look up at."

    Personally I think they've done a hell of a lot and I don't like to read about Barnsley players who have put their heart and soul in to the club being dismissed so readily. As role models for our young players I don't think you could find better.

    Daft idea, John Stones played 20 odd games, sold us first chance he had and has yet to play for Everton. Mental. I think it makes us look un-ambitious if that is the heights we have to aspire to?

    The young players will be going whoopee-**** over that I'm sure!! :D

    There will be loads of those blue birth place plaques as the entire village scrambles to cliam that HT was born or lived in their house. Something like Stratford upon Avon without the sonnets.
