    Can't remember who or why but a couple of months ago someone was looking for a picture of Paul 'Charlie' Cross. Came across this beauty last night so here he is if you still need him....

    To be fair he was only 17 would probably take awhile to emulate the tachetastic efforts of Joe Joyce.

    Would that be Jack? All a bit hazy as i was young but i think our family has some connections with Jack. Also my dad did some decorating for Paul when he lived up Cubley and he gave me a signed team photo which i still have somewhere. Seem to remember Paul had got a bad injury at the time and was on crutches.

    My first few years of watching BFC were actually pretty tashtastic. Joe Joyce, John Beresford, Clive Baker, Mick Clarke. I think that Broddle and Agnew also sported caterpillars on their top lips for a while but got rid of them pretty quickly. In Agnew's case this was a pretty wise decision, bearing in mind he looked like an 18 to 45 year old balding man boy.

    Other top tashes in my early years included Mal Shotton, Gary Fleming, Tony Rees, and of course the toppest tash ever to play for us, Mr David Norman Currie.

    A few years before my time was Phil Chambers. He does look like he could be advertising some sort of men's care product to keep both head and facial hair smooth and shiny.

    When I were little going to Oakwell I thought all proper men had taches. But then again I genuinely believed that our manager in my first season was called Jim Ileyout.

    Joe joyce lived on my street when i was a nipper. I used to go talk to him while he was out cleaning his car etc.
