    I agree there was a bit of background noise and chatter but all in all a great show, good questions and some good storys from the guests.

    Good to have it back, a radio show by Barnsley fans for Barnsley fans. It was a bit different tonight with the special guests, but interesting nonetheless. Usually if it's only fans on, then it has a relaxed feel & flow to it. Similar to a few mates having a natter in the pub. For me, the lack of polish adds to it's charm.:D
    The one unusual aspect to tonight's show was the microphones seemed to pick up a lot of background noise, something I didn't notice last season.

    Linking what LJ said on Radio Sheff and Tommy Wright on Barnsley Radio, the striker targets appear to be more experienced than our current team. Maybe not attract a sell on fee but 'add something to the team', brings the McLeod and Henderson questions back up.

    I'm no longer involved in the show but I can understand some frustrations you have.

    **50 Limit**
    Yes the station is internet based meaning the package they pay for is limited to 50 listeners. Facts are, this show is the ONLY SHOW on Radio Barnsley that actually gets more than about 20 listeners..paying more for one show isn't viable in their eyes.

    **BackGround Noise**
    Unavoidable. The entire studio needs an serious refurbishment but problem is Radio Barnsley is bleeding money and also wasting it chasing licences.

    **Attitude/Guests**
    this is a fans show so I don't see it as impolite. This is Chris' first time working with jake and believe me, working with him in the long run is hard. Chris did excellent in my eyes tonight.

    The problem with Radio Barnsley is that it's ran by a retired bloke who has been with the station for yonks and is unwilling to see any kind of change to it and then you've got the YMCA interfering too into the station wanting to put heir stamp on things. The best thing really for the Football Report is for it to find a new home with a new station which is a little more up to date but folk are too scared to take the jump. Kinda like some folk on here about coming on

    To be fair I didn't mean the presenters

    The background noise I never heard last season

    It honestly sounded like it was being recorded outside or someone left the windows open

    I thought jake and the other lad presented very well

    Just annoying when you are unable to hear what's said due to people giggling or police sirens going off outside

    It quickly got to a point where he just showed up and just did the occasional talking and just operated equipment. Organising guests, show notes, editing for podcast and paying for podcast was all me and when i couldn't make it for one show he bottled Doing it on his own and cancelled on guests very last minute.

    Don't think Chris is one to stand for All that so I don't think he'll get away with it.

    ....seriously, It was a good show. Far better than the Sheff Wed monologue called the Managers Show on BBC Radio Sheff

    He's had over 6 months at it. Shouldn't be nervous now surely?

    I think I heard Andy more than I did Jake haha. Wish he could sound a little more enthusiastic.

    According to the Football Report Twitter page they will re-run the show on the station again...no mention of podcast yet which is a little...backwards :/

    I'll live in hope! I'm sure Chris will sort that out.

    Shame you no longer present the show always enjoyed your input
