orsenkaht Treves for the record breaking win or can Golden Horn do it? Thoughts on the others - Ballydoyle, Sole Power, Toormoor?
It was just an observation, I fully realise its a business and has to go on, just saying they've got problems. BTW I was referring to the floods nothing else
Treve has been hot favourite since her stunning win in the Prix Vermeille. However, GOLDEN HORN has equalled her form in the Derby and the Eclipse this year, and can boast a standout time and sectional performance when winning at Epsom. The ground is clearly a very big factor, and with it quickening all the time, I'd say that helps Golden Horn a lot, even if it doesn't necessarily disadvantage Treve. So I'm with John Gosden's colt, with possible improvement to come from Andre Fabre's NEW BAY making him a live danger for me. I'm also liking: 1.00 Ballydoyle 1.35 Shogun 2.10 Jazzi Top 3.40 Muthmir/Sole Power 4.50 Limato Good luck if you're playing.
Golden Horn does it. Fantastic ride by Frankie, made easy work of the outside draw. I also had Flintshire ew.
Of our house guests for the weekend ( p155 up partners/ mates up for bottle fair ) one had 20 quid on Golden horn (was gunna put a ton on :nails:, ), one had 10 on n tother couldn't afford a bet but would have stuck 7t on that.....took 7-1....all happy bunnies
Been a fan of Frankie from his first days. Have to say that was a career best ride to my way of thinking. The man is a joy to watch, and celebrates his successes in a joyful fashion. Honorary knighthood for him - or a real one if he now has UK citizenship. And same for Big Johnny G, for my money.
A winner, a second and 2 third place draws for me at Redcar yesterday. Backed Golden Horn ew today, there was no way it was ever not going to be in the first 3.
