Went away for a couple of days, and my notifications have gone through the roof. Reported posts, people wanting people banned, people wanting themselves banned, people who were self-imposed banned coming back, people suggesting they might leave but clinging on for an eternal thread. And people just losing it for no apparent reason. Is this an attention seeking competition?
Same old stuff, some people taking themselves too seriously, some people unable to ignore others, some people being a little over sensitive. Business as usual really.
I know, I forgot to mention the one who's desperately trying to get banned so he can claim how unfair it is.... It's like X factor. "Me" "No, Me" "Me, me, me" No, really, ME!!"
Obviously if this was a bunch of women, it would be put down to "hormones". Not sure what these bloke put it down to?
You can blame arabian_ian for that. He plied me with Highland Spring and Scotch Pies and talked me around. How are you, mate?
Very well, thank you. Hope all is well with you and yours. Ian was regaling me with your day out in Dundee on Saturday. He totally enjoyed your company, mate, other than you cheering St. Johnstone's victory over Dundee United!
I kept the cheering down to a bare minimum. I was in the Dundee United end, after all. Ian's a top bloke - met me at the station and took me on a tour of Dundee before the footie then cooked me pie and beans at home before dropping me back off at the station. The sun shone, the match was open and entertaining, St Johnstone won (sorry, Ian) and I learned a lot about Dundee. The volcano (the Law) was a particular highlight. From start to finish, a grand day out. Thanks again Ian, if you're reading this.
