I for one don't want anybody to buy him, and I'll be absolutely gutted when they do! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Absolutely brilliant! If people still don't get that when 95% of fans were begging for him to be sacked. To send him into management oblivion for putting us through not only the worst set of results any of us can remember, but also the worst football most of us have ever seen. He repaid Patrick by jumping ship at the very first chance. And I for one hope he gets that loyalty repaid the moment Bristol start losing a few. He deserves nothing.
Absolutely - he had no reason to show loyalty to the fans at all. We'd made our minds up. My point was that Patrick Cryne stood by him. And at the first opportunity to repay that faith showed in him, he didn't. Think most people would feel we're well rid.
I fail to understand why fans of all clubs not just BFC 'blackguard' former managers and players who leave their club for what they see as bettering themselves. In every walk of life, people will leave their job for better terms and more money. At the end of the day, their and our own priority is to do the best for our family. I don't see how or why football should have different 'rules'. The only constants in football are the fans.
I don't mind normally but given the backing given to him under extreme circumstances ( which in real life would be hard to come by given his general gross incompetence) I make an exception for little Lee.
For the 10000th time. Imagine I had been doing my job awfully, turning up late, missing deadlines and targets but my boss showed me loyalty beyond what I deserved. He sends me on some courses, reassures me and eventually I get my act together and start doing my job properly for 1 month then immediately started sending out CVs and left. Upon leaving I give my new employer information on staff I feel would be better poached, put out the word I'm interested in them to unsettle morale & team spirit over there, bad mouth my former place of work, lie to big myself up and at my leaving do gleefully tell everyone I'm just there to see which staff members I want to take with me. That isn't "the best for our family" thats "being a duplicitous lovely person"
I'm not gloating, I have no feelings bad or otherwise towards LJ. He's immaterial, until we play them. After that we move on to the next game. Yes I was at Altringham and peed off and I do believe he was fortunate to keep his job with us. Ultimately, we got compensated ( very well apparrently) for the departure of a Head coach who became quite unpopular with much of the fan base. History shows it was a good move all round, so no bitterness from me.
Isn't it time we all moved on. To say people "begged" for him to be sacked, then say they weren't bothered when he did leave, there seems to be a lot of bitter folk about. Move on. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
That's sometimes how slow I can be. I've seen that moniker today and never noticed it in that sense lol
I'm quite happy that LJ hasn't been able to buy any of our players. The arrogant t*** was our guest at Wembley and repaid us by saying he was there to scout our players and even had the cheek to name them. He used the press to try and destabilize the good work which was done after he departed. I hope we take 6 points off Bristol this season and when we do I may even start drinking again.
