8 quid a match for the season ticket holders. A 24 hour offer for tickets for a fiver. Bankrolled or not there will be a large crowd cheering Huddy on on saturday.

Sometimes think somebody ought to tap into Asos foreign workforce. Get up there today, offer them a ticket for a fiver (that they have to redeem at ground - to stop sell-on) and see if we can got 1k or so fanatical Eastern Europeans into the ground. Even if only a third of them are tempted to come back regularly it would be a worthwhile exercise.

If we can do it for school kids ........ ?

Absolutely. Would rather them come to Oakwell cheap than watch them save enough of their living wage for a one-off trip to Old Trafford.

Tap in now while times are good.
YTBFC ......... get on the case :)

I must be doing something wrong. I haven't worked out how the team playing well puts more money in my bank account to enable me to watch them. How's it done?

If I were involved at the club I'd consider 2 or 3 per season

Going to football is a habit - once you start going it's difficult to stop
Once you stop - it's difficult to get interested again - the £5 offer would likely boost attendances at other games during the season

It very cleverly alters your mind to re-evaluate your priorities so that you don't spend money on the mortgage, that new gizmo for the car or a birthday treat for your son/daughter/wife/husband etc, and spend it at Oakwell instead.

Nothing wrong with it at Huddersfield because ST are dirt cheap anyway.

I pay £300+ for my ST and if the club offered £5 tickets as often as Huddersfield are then i would feel out of pocket. I'm all for a ticket offer now and again..

Why so touchy?

I think Huddersfield are in a better position to offer these deals with them being a student town looking to interest a few of the university types to a game and hope they come back again at a higher price.... We've done these things at Barnsley before and it's not made a great deal of difference.
