Would love to see Kay step up into the 1st team, especially with Hourihane probably leaving in the summer and Scowen being out of contract and Morsy only on loan

    I think that's fair enough.

I wouldn't say Hammill's form has dropped, he'll be identified as a big threat by the opposition and they'll work on how to stop his trademark cutting inside onto his right foot...maybe we should try playing him on the right wing seeing as he's right footed.

I've heard we're already watching potential Hourihane replacements.

I think he has to start 75% of the games if he's fit.

I think Morsey have stepped up the last few games, particularly yesterday. I wouldn't put Scowen back in until Wigan, and then a decision has to be made who starts thereafter.

Play them both along side Hourihane, in 4-5-1. we might not score as many goals but we'll not let in as many a 1-0 win and controling the game, will do me.

That's how we do business, we seem to be very proactive in terms of transfers. When we sold Mawson we had MacDonald ready to play, and within days signed another central defender in Jackson (and Kpekawa can play there too)

We reportedly had a bid rejected for Luton's midfielder Cameron McGheehan (I think that's how his name is spelt) and it wouldn't surprise me if we went back in for him in January even if we do keep hold of Hourihane in January because unfortunately he won't be here forever!

Morsy for me. Vital that we sign him in January which we seem likely to do. Bizarre that Wigan don't want such a quality player

Hourihane for Kay would be my only change.

I'd like to see Watkins and Armstrong up front at some point to see how it goes, as I would have thought it would be a successful partnership.

At the same time, the last 2 games with Watkins playing in midfield makes us look a bit stronger there. Hammill and Kent are very similar players who like to run at defenders to make things happen - much of the time though, let's be honest, they will be tackled and teams have broken quickly on us and run through us. Kent or Hamill plus Watkins has made us look more robust/balanced in the last couple of games.
