Hope that doesn't mean we're selling him

Devastated if we do, I think he is one of the top two players in our team.

That is exactly what he is paid to do.

Isn't he meant to be an athlete. Fit enough to play 2 games in 2 days.

Give over both of them ran their ****** off for 90 mins against a team with a extra man. Why risk Winnall's hamstrings or a serious injury it's a squad game.

Bit of an over reaction that. He's obviously being rested after working hard 48 hours ago

He's playing against players who are also athletes and who have also had an extra game to recover. I'm sure he could play today, but he might not be as effective as someone else in the squad.

The reason we've needed to make changes if because Forest played a day earlier than us. If they'd played Saturday we might not have made so many

The only thing I find strange is that ryan Kent keeps his place but I trust hecky knows what he is doing in playing this 451 and will explan after the game why players are rested and the formation.

OK So I'm old school. Remembering players working their socks off every Saturday/Wednesday.The game was also a lot harder then. Not the mamby pamby stuff we witness now. The likes of Johnny Giles or Norman Hunter would crash into players who would then just dust themselves down and get on with it. And be ready for their next game.
My point is players today have it easy and 2 games in 2 days is not unreasonable. But I know times have changed.

    Relax

This is going to be a long old month if every time someone is on the bench, or misses training etc. we have to have a 'are we selling him?' debate. Chill out, nobody is going anywhere unless we get a silly offer for them.

The time to panic is this summer when they're all out of contract :nails:

They finished their game just 15 hours before we started ours, it's hardly a game changer. Plus they also played boxing day like us so they may have had a few hours more rest than us in the last few days but they logically went into that game and therefore came out of it also more knackered than we did after having a days LESS rest.

I know what you are saying I just thing this thead speculating players are off because they are on bench is abit silly. They were only playing 48 hours ago but I'm sure hecky will explain after the game so will see

At least we have a very strong bench with Armstrong also on it.

I'll tell you this if a player carn't play 2 games in 2 days he int worth his place in the squad (all this resting players is a load of boll0x) if Hecky wanted Winnall and Watkins to play today they would he's set his side out to win this game and that simpley did not involove them 2 from the start they may might get involved later in the game.
