It's only Tuesday. Are you walking?

The first time I went to Fulham was for a Friday night game back in the promotion season of 1980/81, 16th January. Thirty six years ago!! Blimey, where does the time go?

That was the one where Glyn Riley had to go in the nets and we won 3-2. I remember seeing highlights on the telly. Must have been a good night.

    Awful pitch.

Ronnie Glavin, what a player, you forget how good he was, that run where he was only stopped by the keeper was truly outstanding.

I'm going on saturday, my first visit to the Cottage, I hope we see something like that....

    It was a terrific night.
We spent the day in London, visiting the National Art Gallery & the Natural History Museum. Cultural lot us from Gilroyd in those days!:D
When Gary Pierce was taken off in the first few minutes with a badly gashed leg and replaced by Glyn Riley (only one substitute at the time), we thought our long unbeaten league run, stretching back to October, would be coming to an end. Especially when Fulham went ahead within moments of Riley taking the field. However, this was the best Barnsley team I'd ever seen, still is. We then dusted ourselves down and took the game to the home side. They simply couldn't cope with our attacking prowess and, in the end, the scoreline greatly flattered them.

I've just got my ticket and will be attending Craven Cottage for the first time. Long trek from Bayswater for me. Its my first away game ( not counting Wembley twice) since the debacle at Crawley 2 seasons ago. Got my money back for that one, and hoping the same doesn't apply at the w/end.

Not quite for me- I have a friend who is a ST holder for Fulham and I've been with him to see them play there a couple of times when they were in the Prem. Never seen us play there though or been in the Away end
