    £1.25m is the fee according to that. Wednesday offered the same and Villa won on wages.. We'll see. I think Conor will hold out for a premier team, he's not as desperate as Super Sam.

    They shouldn't be offering him anything - unless we've agreed a fee and given permission for him to talk to them. If we've done that it's unlikely he would be in London with the team.

    How better to offer terms to a player without breaking any rules - until we give permission for a club to talk to him they cant do so, but of course if someone mentions to a journalist what they are thinking of offering ......


    I dont think Conor is solely about the money though - I think he wants to play in the prem and to play for Ireland. No need to jump at the first offer, he can see who else is interested - Neither Villa nor the Fowls are good bets for promotion this season - though both are better than us. If they are his only options I would think he would take Villa but he has a couple more weeks to see who else is intested, and may even decide to wait until the summer though that is more a hope than an expectation

    I think we would all agree that Conors true value (in footballing terms) is at least £5m.

    If Villa pay him 28k a week for 3 years they are getting him for virtually nothing in terms of his value.

    If had three years left on his contract he should be worth an easy 15 million in todays market. I find this report amusing when Hecky says we've had no bids and the player is in London for the match.

    Thats the difference

    in CH and SW there will be clubs falling over themselves to sign Connor , he can afford to take his time, maybe even( hopefully) waiting until the season ends when no transfer fee could get him a bigger signing on fee. Would love him to stay but realistically theres no way we can afford the stupid wage he will end up with.
    If Winnall was as good as he and Washday think he is how come he wasn't in the same position, I still think he wanted to jump ship while his stock was high and wasn't confident it always would be.
