    Hi Phil

Suggest you listen back to the interview that we keep online of that night. Think what you want but asking Patrick about the involvement of his son was a pertinent question considering the context at the time.

And the reason I asked it a couple of times was because he never fully answered it in my opinion. Never once insinuated or asked about James picking the players ever because I'm not a moron and never thought that would ever happen. I simply asked about his involvement in transfers to which from memory a few months later it was confirmed he was involved. So not that daft a question after all.

    Cheers

PS - I've stuck up for you plenty in the past so suggest you might think on a bit before acting the goat on here.

It's owned by one man so by definition is "dictatorial" benevolent or not!

As long as you can squeeze your beliefs and principles in there somewhere that's fine. I always sang along to Tight Fit.

I don't often agree with you, but I do here. The way they conducted themselves after that muppet Wilson got the boot was awful. I remember listening to that Q&A aswell.... I had to switch it off.

He would have been well suited, but dickheads on here and elsewhere gave Patrick a change of mind IIRC...

Time has moved from and like I say surely it's the last thing Patrick needs?

I have no idea if he knows enough to do so, I suspect not and it's not exactly the time for inexperience if he's not had much to do with contracts etc.

I feel sorry for Mr Cryne, he's clearly got enough on his plate without having to worry about this.

John Dennis? Maybe some other old hands who can help? Im not sure where you find someone of that spec at short notice!

Looking at the table sat in 10th how do you feel about that guy that got us relegated and nearly relegated again to league 2.

13 month. 18 places worse off. 13 month after he left back to champ pretty much.

I'm very thankful to him for everything he's done for our club. I also think that the structures in place now seem very different to what Danny worked in originally & that whilst he made mistakes, it's not as black as white as you're implying.

The board of directors are taking, rightfully, credit alongside Hecky for our position today. For consistency, they should also take some of the responsibility for the position we were in after that Crawley game. Or maybe when things go wrong we look for a scapegoat.

What they actually did was get the owner and Chief Exec at the time to come and talk to a group of normal fans and explain things - massive credit to them both for doing so, and massive credit to WSB for making it happen.

What's Barry Taylor done to deserve the criticism he's got too.

Done well. Got to a senior position within the FA but some can only talk about biscuits, tut tut
