    That manager was getting us relegated and destroying the club. Yes I wanted paul heckingbottom. And without sounding to arrogant, I think I was proven right

    not really the point, is it. i thought it was heartbreaking how you attacked the club before hecky got the job. you just happen to like this manager. you have the capacity to be every bit as negative.

    Just playing devil's advocate, let's say we had gambled and kept Winnall, Hourihane and Bree. We gave it everything we've got but finished 7th (or even in the play-offs but lost) and those 3 players then leave in summer for free.

    I was of the opinion that we should have gambled as the prize of going up seemed worth the risk but what it it wouldn't have happened? We'd then be in a much worse position than now (still in Championship, looking for new players in Summer but with not a single penny gained from January sales).

    He's right, we are chasing the play-offs. Surely you can see that from the league table? We're only 4 points behind - how is that not chasing the play-offs?

    We're as close to the play-offs as we have been most of the season. We possibly won't get there, but that doesn't mean we're not trying.

    I think all teams above about 13th place are in with a chance. We proved last season that anything is possible. Our new team might be better than the old one, maybe we should just wait and see?

    Poor transfer window you have to admit? We have come along way in these 12monhs and that's credit to paul Heckingbottom and bfc. Because Wilson and Johnson were taking us in the opposite direction. I just hope we do our bussiness fast in the summer window and we already have our targets. That could be the diffrence next season from which end of the league we are at. On a whole I'm far from negative it's been a great season first season back and hopefully where ever we finish hecky will build on that for next season.

    We had 4 months to identify adequate replacements for the players we knew might be leaving in January, as well as the three or four we already needed to strengthen the squad to be able to push forward from the fantastic position the departing players had got us into, then we 31 days to get them through the door. The club failed big time, forget about Hourihane, Bree, and Winnall leaving it was inevitable we all saw it coming, it's the fact that we didn't replace them adequately that will be our down fall.

    There are some that have stated they are disappointed with events over the last month or so, and their statements are not in any way irrational, because disappointing things have happened. There are others who state we have generaly had a very good year and we remain in a very good position, which is also a rational summary. Both asessments are valid and reasonable. So why the desperate need to castigate each other?

    Without them come the summer we're left with 8 first team players, in the summer we need 12 players we're only aloud to play 6 loaners at a time

    We was, now we're not, give it a few weeks and you'll see, you must be really stupid you pal.
    Chasing play off would have been going out and strengthening the squad we've weakened it instead
