Can't beat a good meltdown on the BBS. We've all had them.
I miss Kev. He usually sorts me out. Bloody long holiday he's on. :D

The start of the cricket always signals an increase in productivity for me as hard and time-consuming projects in the garden or the house are magically transformed into "things I can do while listening to the cricket", by which I mean TMS of course. I used to enjoy the old C4 coverage but I also quite like the C5 highlights package and for me it's a great combination: work hard during the day listening to the brilliant TMS, the programme that radio was invented for, then sit back for a well-earned hour of TV highlights in the evening.

If I had it on Sky I'd probably watch it all live, mind. But if all the year were playing holidays, to sport would be as tedious as to work.

Just out of curiosity Phil, what about Maradonas hand of god incident? or Thierry Henry handball against the Irish? Would it be right for the commentators to point out they cheated, genuine question mate I'm not having a go at you,

you can't read it only1kp.

Greg James asked about it on not just cricket from the 6th and Anderson and Swann commented on it there.

i think the England team have been very kind to Bob Willis although some of the younger former players haven't.

it's not what I would call damning evidence towards willis, swann uses "cant remember" and "that's the general gist...I think" in the little segment about it, I personally get the feeling both sides want to move on before someone delves a little deeper

They don't want to say too much but for the players to say that it says a lot.

They do want to move on i would have thought but they will remember.

don't get me wrong HT, am not having a pop at you, am sure willis regrets saying what he did, but I also feel the players and management didn't take it as far as they could, if it was me that willis had accused of cheating and I hadn't I would have made sure the guy was exposed as a liar rather than brushing it under the table like it appears to have been done

From listening to that show they just play everything down.
That with Root, it was a big deal but they don't like to say a lot. Root apparently just wanted it to go away.

Ok mate we will agree to disagree on this because me personally if a player is shown to blatantly cheat then I think a commentator as every right to say so.

Re: Have that Bob Willis

Have you played cricket?

It's a decent catch, but its a catch that with a crash mat, Bob Willis, Like Steele, Stahlrost and I would probably make (in my youth, not now).

So, what's your point?

It's a nice nice catch. That's why the BT sports have made the tweet. Micheal Vaughan's liked it so it can't be that bad.

He's clearly a right handed cricketer and a certain Willis called him a seal recently
