Top signing that is for Macclesfield. Far too good for non league football. Should be in and around our first team if it wasn't for the fact we already had four full backs that can play on the left hand side.

We always seem to send our players to non league. I would have thought there would be at least a league 2 team interested. As said previously far too good for non league

We seem to sign a fair few from non league too, maybe it's more beneficial for our scouts to keep a eye on him in the conference, whilst also watching other potential signings aka killing two birds with one stone. I can't imagine it'll be a off the cuff placing, BFC will think long and hard about it, before sending players to clubs that they think can continue the development of our fringe players, and give them every opportunity to play week in week out.

Maybe league sides don't think they are good enough? I'm sure if they wanted someone we'd prefer them to play higher up the pyramid. I don't think he's going to make it with us so sending him out is for the best.

Or maybe it's because EFL clubs can't loan players in when the window is closed. Whereas Conference clubs can.

Or because for an whole month that ended just three weeks ago EFL clubs weren't bothered?

You made a claim, I explained why you were wrong.

Callum was in the squad in January every game. We now have others plus the return of Yids.

Good for Callum to get games, and EFL clubs weren't an option for reasons outlined.

League clubs can't take players on loan. Non league clubs can. Probably the only reason he's been allowed to leave to go to a non league club.

Considering he looked decent against Wolves despite us losing 3-1 I think it's a great opportunity for him to get some confidence and experience above u23's level.
