I read a stat somewhere that 78% of people gave up before 10th January.

Working in the trade I can't support Dry January, but fair play to those who stuck to it :)

I've ended up drinking more than in December!

Whole months pass me by without me drinking with me even realising it. I got really annoyed the first time I saw that £20 to be able to drink thing, why would I pay for someone to not do what they said they would? You can all sponser me £20 to not walk a marathon if you want? Surely more money would be raised for charity if they couldn't drink everyday that they were sponsored £20. Mates would keep sponsoring just to annoy you!

It's a brilliant idea, JamDrop. If a particular one of my mates signed up for that I'd just set up a standing order.

No, not him. Although if I could just get him to slow down a bit I think it'd do him the world of good. He's not taken a break in over 6 years.
