If you're going to use twitter please learn how to use it before making yourselves look silly.

They announced before the game to vote by tweeting BFCcommercial then mumbled something to do with a hash tag before announcing in the second half to tweet #bfc_commercial . They weren't sure if it was @ or # and then an underscore appeared out of nowhere in the second half.

And who thought bfc commercial was the best hash tag to use for a motm poll is anyone's guess

Having read the other posts, I now know what this is about. Why the club want to enfranchise a few and disenfranchise the many I don't know.

christ we must be winning games if all we've got to moan about is a twitter hashtag!

and im sure if the club knew EE was down they would have provided everyone on EE with a new phone contract and Vodaphone sim card so they could vote too FFS !!!!!!

I wasn't really blaming the club for that. I was annoyed that I couldn't get online, that my phone was seemignly trying to connect and that it was doing it in such a way that my battery was going down every so quickly, and that EE don't have a service status page that I could easily find, thus when I did have connectivity, I couldn't find out why I hadn't been able to use it.

Right idea, wrong way of doing it. Surely it's just as easy to text the name of the player to a number. I've suggested this idea a few times and now they've finally done it,I couldn't partake because a) I don't have a twitter account and b) my data wasn't working all afternoon.

Idea is spot on. The ability to execute is is dodgy given how many people can't get data signals at oakwell match days. Is it technically possible to expand bandwidth in certain locations at certain times?
