I love a trip to Elland Road. I've got friends who work and study in Leeds, I know some excellent pubs/bars to frequent throughout the day, Elland Rd still holds a novelty factor for me that Hillsborough and Bramall Lane have long since lost and it's usually an excellent atmosphere (helped with the liveliest Leeds fans now congregating at the South End of the ground). Throw in our form and the likelyhood of getting a result there and I started to consider paying over the odds for this particular game. But then £37... for a football match... I cannot do it. Such a shame that the lads will be backed by the usual 800-1000 that pay the obscene prices rather than 2500-3000 who would have gone had it been a more reasonable entry fee. I've managed to stick to my £30 limit for a normal league fixture so far and intend to continue. Fully expecting to miss our trip to Sheffield Wednesday as well. Scandalous pricing... but people will continue top pay and hence there is little pressure on clubs to reduce prices.

So based on the SLO information do we know what reason Leeds gave as to why a deal for both games that benefit fans of both clubs couldn't have been done.

I don't think we need to ask the SLOs why Leeds want to charge us 37 quid do we?

Aside from the ludicrous adult price, a city with THREE universities and they don't even have a student category. Absolute scumbags. They can ********.

Well you said thanks Ben but it's not the fault of Mansford because he doesn't own Leeds United he's just the whipping boy. It's a shame that Celino didn't want to do it as he could do with some positive publicity with his own set of fans.

I have boycotted Leeds away every time we have played them. Kids really pressuring me to go.

Taking daughter to Brighton in a couple of weeks and stopping over, so will be a very expensive week going to Leeds the game after

Living in Leeds and with the team that we have I would love to go to this. But £37: no way. On principle. And especially not to that lot.
