    A non-scientific calculator will answer incorrectly, as it calculates as it goes, as opposed to the whole calculation. Aka, when you press x after the 5+1 it will store 6 as the current value, and multiple that by the 10.

    It is always the case that multiplication or division comes before addition and subtraction.

    I think someone used a non-scientific calculator to work out the Winnall transfer fee.
