Barnsley weren't great today but your club acted with little dignity.

I've seen some **** on a football pitch but what I saw today from your representatives (on the pitch and dugout) was some of the worst i've seen.

It's hardly surprising though when you think they are managed by that. 13/14 long hard months of that we put up with, thank Mr Cryne it's no more.

Also to the family of Mr O Banks. When in the home end of a ground try and act with a little dignity and class. Your Family member didn't score the wonder goal of the millennium but a scrappy **** one. So celebrating like you did wasn't on.

This may offend some, oh well

This league is full of cynical, dirty teams but we should be good enough to beat them. Their tactics were more a reflection of their thug coach than Danny; I just wish the club would ban him from Oakwell for life.

We could and should have won today but there are many reasons we didn't; atrocious refereeing, poor finishing and bad luck being the most significant factors.

I don't think Danny can be held responsible for anything.

Morgans the coach, Wilson sets the tactics like he did at oakwell. He did the same at Sheffield United and copy for Swindon.

I would use Awful but it's far worse than that.

Wonder If Morgan reacted to the fans in the West Stand?

The referee allowed the fouls to go unpunished. I'm sick of seeing incompetence from referees in our games but it just seems that we're seeing it every week. Teams will use these tactics while ever piss poor referees turn a blind eye.

Refs are shocking at the moment. Not sure how it's going to improve. Hammill's getting so frustrated with them

I'm getting frustrated. We seem to be playing twelve men nearly every week.

Childish in the extreme. Posted with one intention, to get a reaction. You got one, well done.

Now go away and grow up.

They came with a game plan, it put us off and they came away with the three points not us. Nothing wrong at all with how our opponents conducted themselves. The ref helped us out a fair bit. Things like not booking Hammill for blatantly kicking the ball away thus waiting until he got gobby, sending off one of their players etc.

Dear O Dear. How sad. You got beat just deal with it you clown.

It happens all the time. Team wins a trophy then next game loses. Not good when it happens but it happens.

FFS still a lot to play for. Appreciate it.

The greatest man to ever manage Barnsley FC was in the away dugout today Phil. Some of us remember that season, it was the greatest ever. It will probably never be replicated.

Despite your efforts, you can't rewrite history. We love Danny and always will. One bad season under tough circumstances won't ruin what he did for our club and our town.

You refer to Danny Wilson as "that" yet try to discuss dignity.

    Classy.

We have the 6th largest budget in the league and therefore have better players than most.
However we ARE in division 3.....its up to us to deal with poor refs....poor pitches and errrr lesser players.
Week on week we see teams employ tactics that be fit their players and tactics.
We've done ok this season after a bad start.

Thought Chesterfield had the best player on the pitch in the winger who created both goals.

Wilson showed the benefits of being an experienced manager. Knows our weakness against robust teams and targeted the inexperienced Bree as a weak link.

Danny's done a great job at Chesterfield hasn't he. Some strange folk on here said they were guaranteed to go down with his appointment. He's done brilliantly and I'm delighted for him.
