Was gutted I couldn't go down to Wembley this weekend since my final hand in for my Master of Architecture was 10am this morning but I'm absolutely delighted to have finished!

I have achieved distinction in my dissertation: "The Urban Design of the Fractal: How contemporary Urban Design trends are affected by the phenomena of Baudrillard’s Fourth Stage of Simulacra"

And am awaiting grades for my Thesis project: "Bukowski’s Post Office: An investigation into architectural components
as linguistic signs within an entropic system" where I have used Thomas Pynchon's short story Entropy to use structural components in Salt's Mill as metaphor for an entropic system of linguistic signs in order to satirise a bureaucratic system such as the one Charles Bukowski finds himself in in the novel "Post Office".

Anyway sorry for the unrelated post I'm just a very happy chappy right now! I can finally get to more games again next season.

nice one :) Not sure I understand it all, but you have obviously put a bit of effort into whatever it is I'm not understanding.

I have a vague interest in Salts Mill myself.

    Nice one, well done !
Can you please copy and paste your dissertations one here for us to read and assess. I'd like to make sure the assessors gave you all the marks you deserved, I'd hate to think they did you out of more marks.

Many, many congratulations, mate. It's always good to hear of a poster's success like this.
The details of it all have completely gone over my head however, but that's probably because I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Big well done!!. By the way, i understood every word of the opening post!

I missed the Bradford promotion game in 97 as I had a big interview for the Fine Art BA at Saint Martins on the Monday. Missed the match, didn't get a place on the course. Got a place at Chelsea instead (better!) then ended up doing my Masters at Saint Martins.

Moral of the story - Who needs educashun, when you have the Super Reds!! :D

Nice one mate. I've always wanted a house building in the style of Baudrillard’s Fourth Stage of Simulacra. So glad I've found someone qualified to do it for me :p
