Happiest I can remember in a long long time.

Think it might have been the goal when we were having a shocker.

Nice to be part of apart from some guy that kept on saying Kpekawa was Saidy Janko. Told him it was Cole Kpekawa and apparently it couldn't have been because Cole's a left back and he doesn't play left midfield. I just put my head in my hands and didn't know if I should laugh or cry.

Not sure but if he can't tell the difference between someone 5ft 10 and 6ft 3 then i'm not sure the mince pies are working too well

HT, I didn't go yesterday but listened to radio commentary which isn't great but you can identify how the games going. Also reading and listening to various comments, it doesn't sound like we were poor in any spell though. Were we having 'a shocker' during that second half period or was it just an experienced Home side in Preston were simply having a dominant period like most home sides tend to do in a game?

I usually work it out by reading the name on the back of the shirt

Palmer to Palmer, passes to Palmer, Palmer shoots but it's saved but Palmer taps in the rebound ;)

IMO the team had a shocker (second half). We had a good first half, maybe the best half we've played all seasons in many ways and could have been 2/3 up. Davies pulled out a good save from a cross that turned into something more than it should.

I do think we wasted chances yesterday. Winnall had 2/3 and he choose the wrong option. Marley Watkins questioning him a few times. One just before Kent went off and he might have injured himself in the move. For me he should have stopped the sub then whilst he and the physio team checked if he was okay. Which he wasn't in the end.

I would have liked to see kent central with Armstrong and Watkins wide. Armstrong will get a lot of the talk today but some of what Kent did was jaw dropping. Change of direction with 1 and two touches takes 2/3 players out of the game with ease.

Just little idea's that I came up with yesterday. Be good when Janko can get into the squad. Give us more options. Got a few idea's with squad's i'd like to see but they'll not go down with some on here too well.

I was one of those saying last week I think he should stay int he team. Facts are he made the wrong choice and from the reactions everytime he could see that. The problem was it was after every time when a team mate was again questioning him.

If he plays on Tuesday night (unlikely with him going off injured) I fancy him to play well and score.

Hecky said in his post match that Kent was carrying a knock from the Rotherham game and hadn't trained much since then and it was the reason why he went off. He also said there were times when we weren't great with the ball but he praised our doggedness and what we did generally when not in possession.
We're not going to be perfect, after all no team or person is, but as long as we continue in this manner then I for one am delighted. What a great set of players we have.

Play the winger as a striker and the strikers as wingers? Why stop there, let's play Davies as a holding midfielder and Hourihane in goal.

I wound't say they can only can play one position. Their attributes mean they can offer different things in different positions.

Hemsworth, was wondering if your opinion of 442 has changed at all? Considering you predicted we'd lose our first 3 games and be bottom by Christmas if we played it.

Doesn't seem to be working out too badly.

To be honest I actually thought we weren't very good for a large proportion of the 2nd half. We gave the ball away far too easily, and to be honest, after the equaliser it looked as though the game was going one way. Hecky tried changing formation which I think worked, Scowen saw more of the ball, and Morsy did a job in front of the back 4.

It took a moment of brilliance for us to win the game, but with the way the 2nd half went, I would have been happy with a point.

    First half was great though.

HT in "Home team has 20 minute period of pressure" and "predatory 20 plus goals a season striker takes clear shot at goal" shockers.

Anyone else willing to join me and contribute to buying him a season ticket for a team playing at a level he can better understand and empathise with, Chelsea under nines, perhaps?

Aye but why put them in their secondary position when they can play in their natural position.

I've got to disagree with you over Kent. He was very tricky yesterday but his end product was lacking once again. It's the 3rd time I've seen him play now, and he does the hard things very well, but struggles a little with the basics. He backed out of a lot of 50/50 balls as well which put a lot of pressure on our full back. If he was carrying a knock then fair enough.

Not sure why you'd insist on playing him up front when we have as many good strikers as we have though.

Winnall didn't have the greatest game, admittedly. But in typical Winnall fashion, he still managed to get on the scoresheet in spite of his overall performance. I actually think Bradshaw is very similar. Watkins is the polar opposite in the sense that he might do everything exactly right, but never get the opportunity to score, which is why he provides a perfect partner for, well anybody really. Armstrong looks to be a complete game changer.
