had to go collect ticket for match last night, my mates going on holiday today so wanted to get his young un the new 3rd kit, spoke to one of the lasses in the shop and asked if they had the shirt for a 3 year old, lass said no, asked when they would be getting them in and was told they are not, youngest age they are making that shirt is for 5 year olds, so again money lost by the club.
To be honest a third kit in a three year old size is a fairly niche product. I can't see that we'd even sell 5 of them so it's probably not economically viable to have them made.
Plus I'd say dressing a 3 year old in a white shirt that would probably cost the best part of £30 would be a bad idea for a start. No home ones available?
maybe so pal, I just know my mate was a bit disappointed with the situation, hes got the other kits already but seeing as wed brought a new kit out he wanted to get it for his young un for their holidays, its BFC's choice or the manufacturers decision not to stock them in and me moaning on here wont change the decision I just thought it was a bit disappointing
for a 3 year old whats wrong with that????? when my little one gets older Id have no issues putting then in a footy top during the day sound a bit of a snob from your part that? what are you saying they should wear, linen trousers and wicker shoes????
read original message pal, its not me going on holiday, but in the past when ive been away if I'm round the pool, yeah ive worn a footy shirt and seen many people round pools with football shirts , be in Majorca, mexico, turkey ..... where ever ive been.
so during the day in other resorts , what would you (seeing as your some sort of gok wan stylist) recommend during the day.
you just need to look at who it is that's answering you and then realise that you 'KH' assumption is correct.
Maybe a pale blue linen shirt, stone coloured knee length shorts and a nice boat shoe? Like they wear in Darfield.
sorry think our dress sense is way apart from each other. plus I find it funny that my original comment was about the club shop not producing the new 3rd kit for under 5's to have a little moan about it and also to let people know so they don't waste their time is they are wanting to go to club shop for same thing and you turned it around about people shouldn't wear football shirts on holiday unless you are going to places like Benidorm or magaluf . I didn't realise when you booked a holiday that you have to follow a dress code, to me I'm proud to come from Barnsley and I have no issue when I'm walking round a resort to wearing a BFC shirt, infact ive bumped into other Barnsley fans while wearing a Barnsley shirt even in places like vegas. pale blue linen shirt, stone coloured knee length shorts and a nice boat shoe?????? maybe that's a west Yorkshire thing cause I wouldn't be seen dead in anything like that, holiday or not, but like I said what people wear is their own preference and just because I would wear a football shirt on holiday doesn't mean I should just go on holiday to places like magaluf.
Well I' m currently wearing a Reds shirt from about 4 seasons ago, I've already wore my red top with Wembey 2016 on it, Then I've still to wear an unofficial tee shirt with club logo and come on you reds on it. Did I already mentionI'm in Lanzarote. Also, replica shirts for kids are a must, Saves mums loads of packing room and washing.
Only time I ever wear my barnsley shirt is when I'm playing 5 a side or on holiday. Never wear em to games but like to show me colors on holiday. Wish club shop would stock the beach towels with Barnsley fc logo on em don't think they have don't em for years.
