Mebbe. And what a player to replace. Going to be very hard.

I can't give a bigger endorsement than this.

It's like trying to find a new Neil Redfearn all over again.

I really don't think there are many with the character and influence of Conor. I just hope Villa trust in him and realise what a gem they've just stumbled upon.

    That's the biggest worry.

If you look back on the period from Premiership to the last 12 months, and how many heroes have we had between them?

    They've been very very rare.

Good video but why is Blackpool orange the colour used for the lettering etc in all our videos? Why isn't it red?

higgy, butterfield, vaz, drinky, stones, mawson... all not quite legend status bar higgy but we've had some goo players. And some like Stones that were taken before we had even got to see them fully develop.

We're not going to replace him but Im sure we can find much better midfielders than we've had since Redders and Higgy.

That left foot though - just like mine! lol BOOF!

I tend to consider a legend as someone who has done it over and over for years, well in excess of 100 appearances or delivered something iconic that made a vast difference to us.

Recall in my youth us having several players who all had in excess of 200 games playing at the same time. Baker, Futch, Joyce, Thomas. Then Fleming, Taggart, Redfearn, Archdeacon, O'Connell. Doubt we'll see again that in modern day football.
