We probably need to stop putting politicians who have not worked in the NHS and probably never used the NHS in charge of it. Why not form a working party of the senior successful trust management and doctors from around the country and find out from them what the NHS needs.

Better still, make all MPs and their families have to use the NHS for all medical care (and attend state schools for education). That would probably sort it out quicker than anything else.

Would be a good idea to do that with education

Technocracy is the way forward :) (and before anyone says it, the EU is not and never has been a technocracy by definition).

Sacking Jeremy Hunt would be a good start. A man clearly bent on destroying the service he is supposed to run. the May government signalled it was happy to continue dismantling the NHS by retaining him in post.

For war there is always enough. It's peace that's expensive.

These Tories need to be branded as what they are - the enemy of the people. If they had their way, we'd all be tugging our forelocks and scraping to our betters all the time coughing up blood onto our sleeves. *******s.

No-one wants to move to a US-style system, it's one of a kind.

None of the superior public/private European systems are run like that.
