Another great choice by the Venkys (not). Relegation nailed on surely.

I think Tony Mowbray would make a decent manager at the top level with better players . His problem is that he tries to play like Barcelona [and Rochdale ]:D and it very rarely works in the lower leagues . I feel sorry for the Blackburn fans cos they're a decent lot . You reap what you sew !

It's a strange one with Mowbray as he did a decent job at Hibernian and in his next appointment took West Brom up to the Premier League along with an FA cup semi-final appearance (the same year we played Cardiff there!) However, he then left West Brom for Celtic but was sacked some 9 months later and in more recent times failed at Middlesbrough despite being provided with a healthy budget and resigned as Coventry manager.

I wonder if he's going to want Jamie Clapham as his No2. He's employed him at Middlesbrough and Coventry.

Similar career to Owen Coyle, a couple of good/lucky seasons followed by years of crap.

He's failed time and time again, but still doesn't struggle for managerial positions. He was dog ***** in league one and yet comes back in a championship position. Only in football is failure constantly rewarded. Most managers/coaches doing well in the football league are young guys with fresh ideas. Not old school bosses set in their ways with their ideas.

Given that Rotherham are certainties for the drop, I'm not sure who I would most like to join them. Wigan, Blackburn and Bristol City are obvious choices because of their spending abuses and all three are in a battle. But you could add to that the likes of Villa, Wolves and Forest who are guilty of the same. Burton are the other ones down there but it would be nice to give them one more season, before finishing bottom next year.

Ultimately it doesn't affect us much who goes but it would be nice if some of those who don't play by the same rules as us went down, and stayed down for a few years.

Villa, Forest and Wolves would probably be tougher games next season than the others, so we should probably prefer the "better" (or richer) to be relegated to keep them out of our way.

We were on about this today and most agreed it would be ideal to see Rotherham go on a record breaking run and survive leaving Bristol City, Wigan and Villa in the bottom three.

Sadly Rotherham won't survive and I think Wigan will go with them along with Blackburn.

So many clubs I'd like to see relegated, but sadly only three relegation spots!

And one of them will be taken by a team I would prefer to stay up as well. I think it will be Rotherham :( Wigan :) and one from Blackburn Bristol and Burton but I hope its not Burton

I sewed a new button on my trousers and reaped nothing, however i sowed a number of runner beans and reaped them all. Just saying. I also feel for the Blackburn fans.

On current form, only Cardiff and Preston below us have picked up more points than Burton from the last five games (QPR have the same). Hopefully they'll survive.

Quite correct . I couldn't decide between sew and sow , so I took a wild and unadulterated stab in an otherwise remarkably boring day .

I like burton they're a nice fair side. The way their centre half stamped on winnall which should have resulted in a first half penalty and them being down to 10 men for the majority of the game and doing us out of 2 points was just spiffing

I wasn't at the game, so can't comment. But surely it is good for football (and for us) to have a side even smaller than we are in the Championship?

I would love Wigan and Bristol to go down. Don't get me wrong, I would have loved Villa to have gone but think they'll be well in front of the bottom three by the time the season finishes.

Never had an issue with Blackburn and despite their owners being *****, they've never done anything to offend me.

I'm still hoping they self-destruct, but they are leaving it later than usual.
