He breaks forward to create match saving goals.

It seems knowledgeable people were right about him. Absolute gem.

Steve Claridge picked up on his amazing jumping and heading ability last night.

Power headers and spring jumps? Ads Hinchcliff styleeee.

I thought Bobby struggled aerially a bit at Hillsborough. Though in fairness, Darren Moore would have found their brand of hoofball difficult to defend against. Against decent footballing sides like Cardiff and Palace he's proven that we don't have a better natural defender at the club. To come in and do so well after a lengthy spell on the bench is remarkable.

Exactly. My only disappointment v Wednesday was he didn't just stand off Madine, let him have it and go for the second ball.

He's brilliant. Always has been. But he's not a right back.

Sadly there are still the odd cretins who are blind to his loyalty, spirit, passion and to what he does for the team and simply choose to pick fault with everything he does.

A newspaper invented 'spat' and sticking up for the club that pays his wages.

Only the densest would read it any other way.

    He's proved, yet again,

To be an excellent player, representative of the club and thoroughly decent & honourable bloke.

Yep, agreed. Madine is a big lump and by challenging for the first ball made him look like a world beater.

Folk go on about the modern game and how it's changed but that game was a proper flashback to the bad old days of John Beck growing grass longer in the corners and knocking it big. Still, if it keeps Wednesday up I suppose they'll be pleased with themselves.

Just got back from the hairdressers

Spent 10 minutes discussing ginger hair dye.

Apparently my grey bits will come out a lighter shade of ginger than my dark bits, which will look a bit strange. However, all is not lost. Apparently they can do something called "pre pig" on the grey bits first - it's more expensive but will ensure a more uniform shade of ginger on the finished product.

Not quite the same thing. Wiseman is quite rightly getting praise for his performances and got most of his criticism when being player as a centre half which is not and never will be his natural position. Some people on here criticise Bobby after nearly ten years service under six managers regardless of how well he has played in numerous positions – their rants are clearly personal and very petty.

Aye but if he concentrated 1% more on his football he'd have ran the length of the field, skinned all 11 players, scored himself, put the referee's watch back while he wasn't looking and then done it all again.

    Isn't that right hemsworth-tyke ?
