No 1 son has told me that Oxford are having a 'singing' section at Wembley, do you all think we should do something similiar?

When we were last there the atmosphere was a bit subdued due to all the singers being spread out.

    Thoughts folks?

No, it was down to Wembley blasting out ***** music and inane announcements at festival volume. Hate Wembley, not bothering over paint pot. Great for the players and young supporter who never went to the real wembley.

Acoustics are also *****. Noise just filters away into the atmosphere unlike the old Wembley where it echoed down from under the roof.

Atmosphere against Cardiff was dreadful. We tried all sorts to get people singing round us and they just sat there looking glum. A singing section would be a great idea if it can be organised...

    totally agree Simon

New Wembley is *****... they totally missed the boat when they decided to have a new national stadium built... it should have been moved from the Old Wembley zone TOTALLY..... its still in the middle of an industrial estate... no pre match ents like Pubs, restrauants whatever... a total **** up... all you have is Wembley way.... WWWWWWWW OWWWWWWEEEE... dog ****. Should have been totally re-located ... yes still in London... but with a much better Match day... event day experience... many BFC fans will have been to the Millenium Stadium in Cardiff when we won the Play off final... I defy anyone to say that they did not have a great day there... and even if we had lost too

Couldn't agree more - atmosphere flat and difficult to improve on cos singers not together !

If not able to organise an area like u say Oxford are doing the why not buy tickets to the right side of nets! Int this where the vocal uns go at away games ?

Wembley felt very compartmentalised so you only related to the block you were sat in and I think it's that that affected the atmosphere

Well, maybe we should declare a couple of blocks on here as "singers section"

    We're in the West.

That would make sense in terms of being consistent with the "top right" where our singers tend to congregate.

Dunno how the club plans to hand out tickets, but if there is a choice on blocks, it shouldn't be too difficult to promote via social media where to get your singing section tickets. Maybe this is a thing for the SLOs and Bondy to take up?

Oxford have allocated 2 blocks as the singing section and have clearly indicated which they are, blocks 111 & 112.

Therefore it should be easy for Barnsley to allocate blocks in our allocation.
