Understandably but let's think on a bit - there's obviously a situation in the background that's come to a head this past week RE Linton etc. Whilst it's frustrating & come at a difficult time the real challenge is the club bringing in some kind of order sharpish.

Maurice & Mr Cryne have enough experience & contacts to do so. The whole recruitment process they've put in place should withstand such upheaval & this month will be a massive test of that.

The achievements of the last 14 months means they deserve some patience & faith. Chill out a bit. It's frustrating but let's see.

Good post. Just need a few signings and everything will seem good again. It's been frustrating so far but I have faith we'll get back on track

Who was it who appointed a marketing man to be CEO of a football club?

No he wasn't. He was a respected football administrator, recommended to us by the FA i think & brought in to do that originally under Ridsdale. He then stepped up later in his time at Oakwell.

The last 12 months mean nothing now

    WHY???

Because there has been no change to when the best midfield in the Championship was lost for the sake of just £1.5 million
Drinkwater sold by Man United for just £1 million
Vaz Te to West Ham for £500k.

    Cryne has to sell

I do get this train of thought though. It's very teminciscent to then which is worrying considering what that then led to. Hopefully we're in a stronger position now.

He might have done but that's not what you said. He was at S****horpe a long time before joining us.

I apologise - I thought your original post referred to him as CEO for us.

If he did work in catering before working his way up at S****horpe I'm not sure that's a particularly bad thing but apologies, I got the wrong end of the stick.

    Who says there isn't

.................Its Patrick Cryne that's saying there isn't

But did he not mention a few seasons back there were 3 or 4 interested parties

Did he and the board keep us up to date with news of that interest.....................NO !!!

Barnsley Football Club is being run as a rich mans hobby - not a business.

And its being run on the backs and hard work of the manager and staff.
