Had problems online this morning booking tickets for peterborough so rang up and got through to someone at ticketmaster who proceeded to put my tickets through before adding £2 for each booking....

Is that normal? I don't normally have issues booking online so very rarely ring up and when I have Ive never been charged an admin fee per ticket.

In the end I told him to cancel it I'm not paying booking fees per ticket... Per transaction maybe but not per ticket.

Online system wasn't working earlier (it rarely seems to for me). Got thrown out twice at payment stage and then couldn't get back in at all. All sorted now though, just booked 6 tickets online without any problem. I didn't pay any booking fees at all but I did opt for the collect from box office option though.

I took my two sons to a gig in Manchester about 3 years ago & booked through ticketmaster & sure as eggs are eggs I got charged 3 booking fees . It annoys me as I feel the same as you , it should be one fee for the total booking . Incidentally , did we not get charged a booking fee for each wembley ticket or did I dream that ?

I had problems on line this morning as well, thought it was just me as never had problems before!

Anyway, I ended up have to book the tickets over the phone, BUT if you phone the Superstore phone number you bypass the chance of getting the Ticketmaster hotline and don't get the booking fees.

Exactly same here, couldn't get the website going at all so rang up and she added £6 on so I ended the call and tried online again and it worked, no booking fee. It's bad enough paying £26 for a League One game nevermind £28.

Booking fees annoy me a lot.

Bought tickets to a couple of gigs in the last month and the booking fees were £7 per ticket both times.

It properly takes the biscuit when they allow you to print tickets off at home but still charge for it.

I hate Ticketmaster with a passion, and I'm fairly sure the booking fees are now not legal.

It also pisses me off, or rather used to, when you are charged a booking fee per ticket rather than per booking.

It kept kicking me out at the payment stage too.

The numerous attempts to pay made my bank suspicious, so they started asking for SMS authentication. I was using my work computer and this place is red-hot on GDPR, meaning our phones have to be switched off when we're 'operational.'

I tried again on my break. The SMS authentication wasn't arriving within the two minutes the Ticketmaster site gives you before it times out and empties your basket.

I had to speak to the bank's fraud team to get the transaction authorised. It took three hours in total and I got fvck-all work done this morning!

I HATE Ticketmaster. So much. My stress-levels have been through the fvcking roof. It's only September! What will it be like if we need a draw at Bristol Rovers to go up? Fvcking hell.

It's being charged a fee for using your credit card which isn't legal now. Some companies (i.e. Just Eat) are getting around it by calling it a service charge and applying it to cash customers as well.

I rang 01226 211211 and went through the switchboard. Press 1, press 2 etc.

Went to book 2 OAP tickets for grandma and grandad. 21 quid a ticket. Just paid £46.75 because of booking fees and postage. Postage I kind of don't mind, but it's still steep at £1.75.

But the two quid booking fee is a disgrace.

Postage is 75p mate not £1.75, I paid it as I'll use more than 75p's worth of petrol getting to the ground to collect.

So it is. My maths is terrible.
