we will get a decent gate moey win or lose in the Quarters PLUS TV monies too. We surely will get past the Half a million off this.
I would rathet the money be used on new players. we now must be in a very decent financial state surely?
Re: I would rathet the money be used on new players. I'd like to see them spending a bit of money off the field to generate more cash for future players. Chicken or egg situation Think it's £360,000 if we win the next round and that's not including gate receipts
yes its £360k http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/More/prize-fund would be nice to win it for that, but we will get a very decent slice of money from the gate and TV too.
Re: yes its £360k All goes towards the relegation contingency fund. Don't expect the club to spend anything until our Championship status is confirmed.
And when you add in the undoubted mental confidence benefit we've taken from the cup run, indeed this whole upturn started with the Burnley game, it makes a complete mockery of those teams who give up on the cup when in a tight relegation situation like us.
It's when you see the money building up like this you remember just what a good cup run can do for a club like ours.
I'd have argued that Luton at home would have been a better draw. We'd have been on TV too, obviously the win was THE most important aspect of any of this.
