Some newspaper reports say he won't go for any less than 40m pity we didn't know how good he was when we sold him
who has bid that then... not Chelski according to this http://www.skysports.com/football/n...e-second-john-stones-offer-jose-mourinho-says
Even at that you can say he's a bargain. If he spends ten years there which isn't out of the question for someone so young that's only four million a season for his services. They will get their value out of him for that with the multiple trophies he will help them win. Sounds alot when you think 40 million for a defender with such little premiership experience so far who only plays for Everton. But in the bigger picture it's still likely to be a bargain. Like when people thought 30 million was too much for Rio Ferdinand but it turned out to be a bargain for Man United.
if we get 20% of 40 mill (8mill), we have done very well for an unproven teenager who was playing for a lower league feeder club. We wouldn't have got that 8 mill from Chelsea off our own back anyway as we are clearly useless in transfer dealings. end of fred
Would it? We get £8-10m for a player we developed over many years whereas Everton get £25-30m for a player theyve had 2 years. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
yes it would be good money....he was a proven top flight player at Everton whereas he was playing in a pub team down at Oakwell so was in fact unproven at top level. the fact the fans knew he was class and the club didn't is another laughable matter hth end of thread...again
Is it only me that is so utterly and completely bored of John Stones transfer shenanigans? I think the BBS should have a 'safe word' Last time I was this bored I was watching a Mel machin side employ the legendary 8-1-1 formation.
I hope he stays at Everton, has a blinder of a season and then Everton accept an increased bid. of £40m+
