That's fantastic business. That's BFC doing the only thing it can do it the current football climate. We are doing a great job finding talent, developing players and getting them to perform; and whilst it's sad to see players move on, we are what we are, a smaller Championship Club. I wouldn't swap places with my other half, a Wednesday fan, who sees his club p#ss money up the wall, to end up right back where they started, playing less attractive football than us, for alot more admission money. So let's not go on about £3.5 million (remember Radio Sheff enjoyed stitching us up reporting £500k for Winnall?) It was b#llox. The deal is worth £5.5 million. Other players lined up. COYR.
I'd love to believe it was 5.5mil. Do we know 100% it was that figure? Everywhere seems to be quoting 3.5.
PC who is bankrolling our club, year after year? Hasn't the new CEO said that it will all be reinvested?
As mentioned elsewhere, why on earth are we losing so much every year? Burton seem to manage of much less income.
I know he is French but I thought I heard him say "some would be reinvested " or could that be "sum"?
Fired - tha must be psssssed Have a lay down. Winnall didn't go for £5.5M But would love it if he did - so tell me more - even tho tha pssssed
No. it's not official. "Undisclosed" is official. I know who/ what I believe though. And it comes from the buying team, not BFC. I used to work down there and still have contacts. But anyway, for the ones who want to see black, please carry on. I just wanted to point out that in my opinion the club is making a decent effort to compete. 3 year deals on new signings, also. We're backing our own judgement. We'll come a cropper here and there no doubt, but I'm not sure what else folks want us to do?
It's you who is slurring words!! Roberts = 5.5 million. Winnall was alot more than 500k - think 1.5 - 2 million.
Even though we've had one or two arguments in the past, I trust Fiona 100% over this. She is an honest person as I know.
Yes, I apologise. No money will go to the squad. It's all going to Patrick. He's putting it all on a bet at 5-1 that Andy Yiadom will sign for another team in the next 6 months.
