Definitely yes. A proper little grafter. A few seasons back, as a young lad, he's was Southend's best player by a mile, at our place. Even in this seasons Checkatrade match, at Oakwell, he looked like the only Bradford player who actually wanted to win. In truth, I don't even know his actual position as every time I've seen him play, he covers every blade of grass. Half a million is a steal for the here and now. But if he's peaked early and has no future profit making potential, he'll not be on our 'Moneyball' radar.
If we continue to play a diamond formation in midfield, Jack Payne would fit in at the attacking point of the diamond. Would be number one signing for me and £500k would be money well spent. Get moving with some of the Potts money.
Jack Payne is an excellent player! He’s a very clever player & would link up really well with others such as Cauley & Kieffer - don’t wait, try hard to sign him!
