Cod eye – read you’ve had the pleasure of meeting stretch. He was in my class at School. Don’t know if I should give his proper name so better not.

He used to work in JBB in town, don’t know if he still works there or not. He’d be 25/26 at the moment.

I remember back in the Premiership season he used to wait outside the ground and go in as soon as the gates opened.

If you see the pics of when Redfearn scored the goal against West Ham you can see fresh faced slim Stretch in the background shots.

And good to see I’m a real fan. Although in that section sits Mr Angry as he’s knows around me, who spits with fury at whoever plays on the right wing. This season Devaney and last season Shuker. He sits with who I presume is his son and maybe his son. He’s about 50 with gray hair and glasses.

Eye...i was in the year below(might have been 2 years below)...he used to get some right stick...he got those gloves he wears off Lars Leese after a game once...oh he was so proud!!!

He's still there but must have hit on hard times lately. He seemed to wear a different named Barnsley shirt every game at one bit, but now always wears a Goalie top with Letheren on the back.

Yep, I was always absolutely stumped about how he managed to afford a different named shirt for every home game, more often than not with an obscure reserve player's name on the back. Very very bizarre.
