Thanks Gally, appreciate you putting the time into this.

I was optimistic at the start of the season and that hasn’t changed, sounds like we are still moving in the right direction.

Many thanks for taking the time to give us such a comprehensive overview of the proceedings
Gally. The content of some of the replies, engenders a feeling of optimism for the future.
I particularly warmed to the idea of any profit being ploughed back into the Club and the fact
that the Board now hold a more sensible attitude to the use of loan players. It's been a necessity
in the past, but going forward there's nothing to say we can't recruit and nurture our own talent
instead of improving young players for other Clubs. I've been extremely impressed with Daniel
Stendel thus far and sincerely hope we can hang on to him in the hope that he gets us back into
the Championship, hopefully this season and beyond.

    Thanks for that Gally..

Would be Nice for the link mentioned about some of the Nice players. Sounded like it is a no go because of our current division, but the championship is a much closer proposition.

If they achieve what they speak about in terms of being a stable mid table championship team then I think 95% of fans will be happy. I completely agree that the bigger step up to competing for promotion to the prem is a different entity...having said that, put us in the position of being a stable mid table champ team and you never know what could happen with both team confidence, players gelling, spades of luck...

    You Reds!

Thank you to Gally for his work in typing all that up for us all to read. Time will tell with the new owners. If all that goes in to the club is getting spent, I look forward to the Potts cash being spent this summer. A good job was done of answering a question without answering it. We found out some plans they have, but it's just words at the moment. In five years time maybe we will have a Hotel/Bar complex behind a brand new west stand, that's open every day of the year. A spacious double floor cheap venue like Joseph Bramahs, with a 100+ room club owned Premier Inn style hotel next door. Get a deal with Barry Hearn for Darts/Snooker players to stay there because he's always bringing his sports to town. Our ground used much more often not just with stuff like my own summer idea but like where are for example driver awareness courses held in Barnsley? Council could surely have them take place at Oakwell five days a week, twice a day. It would be in their interests with owning half the ground.

Will we ever hear from Chien Lee? I thought he would have been at our game last weekend after watching Nice the night before. Will we get to hear ever again from Grace Hung? When past commercial deals run out it remains to be seen if we see a huge increase in sponsorship from our stands, shirt sponsor, catering etc. Not a fan of fancy advertising boards. I find them off putting, especially when watching a Bournemouth game with those vitality dogs. Small price to pay if we go back to the system of one row of advertising boards that worked perfectly fine for over 100 years for us.

Thanks Gally. Being so far away, and not being able to get to any of these meetups with the club or the fans, I appreciate the effort to share this feedback.

Thanks for this much appreciated. So far I don’t really see any improvements in the ground or match day experience other than the mural and a half arsed attempt to improve the family area. On the pitch we got relegated so again no progress there. But in all that it is very early days so we have to think positive change is coming.

Gally. Just to echo what most have said on here. Thanks for the effort and hard work you do on behalf of the fan base both admin for this website and these 'extra curriculum activities' which must take up a lot of your time. I know nothing of your personal circumstances but if you have a partner / wife they must be very understanding :).
It is particularly appreciated by the followers and fans of BFC, like myself, who live abroad and can only find out what is going on via the BB. You are a true fan and one of the best. Thanks again.

Thanks for taking the time to do this for us all Gally. The prospect of bringing a few players over from Nice when we are promoted is exciting and seems to make sense. Looking forward to a positive future for our football club.

Comprehensive write up that Paul. Must be nice to be able to keep up with the conversations and type at the same time. Your feedback to the bbs. Was a
thorough telling of what went off.
Many thanks for your contributions. I’d have been typing first line when next question arose.
