It could've gone the other way just moments ago though where we had two good chances.

See what character we have ?
Possibly highlights that we don't have the strength in depth and ability to make mass changes!
It's good that it happened tonight in the cup.
May also make a few people think that the job isn't over.

    Saturday is what counts!

Playing poorly should have stayed at home.

    Barnsley are back!!

Thank Christ it’s just the Haribo Cup.

Think Stendel will know a lot about some of those starters tonight.....

Shame we've blown it tonight, could have been a glamour club next up. Ho hum.

    I hope you are right.
He needs to be sat with GG on the coach coming back.

I had hoped the players given their chance tonight would take it.

    Not happened!

Sounded like a glorified friendly today, and a few of the starters didn’t come back out after half time. Imagine Moncur, Walton, McGeehan, Victor and Isgrove won’t have given much reason to change his first 11. Except Moncurs goal.

Wouldn’t over react to that. Still find it really strange to start Pinnilos again.

Always better to know what you have in reserve before you are forced to select it. Couple more additions needed before the end of August - not loans, unless someone really class is going to come in, but loans with an agreement to buy. Hope we have 1 or 2 lined up.

On to Saturday and hopefully back to winning ways!

Completely agree with all the sentiments above.
After hearing their interviews I just can't see them bringing more in.
    Hope I am wrong!

Think they keep their cards close to their chests.

The league match Saturday should see a different intensity level. Perhaps tonight was a feeler for seeing who was ready and trying out a different formation.

Really glad they do keep their secrets.
And appreciate Saturday will be different again.
I am sure they will have learnt lots tonight.
It will not have done players morale any good though, hope it's not too soon after relegation for them to get a lesson!
Showed we need Lindsay, maybe that was a point being made?
