Same thing he always does - **** off to a club where he's guaranteed to win the league and be a massive hypocrite when it comes to political causes. Absolute cnut and a chequebook manager
Go and stand in the corner. Don't come out again until you've re-read all of @Red Rain's series "Minority Report - Talking Finance".
So on face value, this sounds great, but, first it will get reduced on appeal, secondly in 2014 they were fined £49 million so how does a second offence only constitute a smaller fine(the argument will be missing out on Champions League).
Yet Madrid can do as they please, barca too. Reading the case I feel extremely sorry for City, it’s a disgrace.
Just heard 30 million in a report where there was no mention of pounds or Euros - they have since mentioned pounds
BBC report says that Man City might also face points deduction in the Premiership. If that happens with Leicesters drawing at Wolves tonight they are 23 points behind Liverpool and have played one more game than the Reds, they might as well give the Championship trophy to Liverpool as nobody will catch them. Manchester City banned from European club competitions for two seasons by Uefa https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51510284
But by the same logic do you disagree with planning permission for buildings? Regulation is necessary otherwise the system, whether it be a football league, an industry or an environment will collapse due to the actions of the greedy. FFP was a direct reaction to the number of clubs going into administration and a general feeling that fair competition is impossible, which will eventually kill the sport, no matter how healthy it looks at the moment. My only frustration is that potential domestic points deductions are not enough of a deterrent. Blatant cheating should result in automatic relegation. Individuals are banned for cheating. Clubs are mildly handicapped.
