    I've never watched any footage from this match. Indeed i never watch any highlights from a match when we've lost. This game is probably my worst ever barnsley fc watching experience. I fell out with my first wife about an hour before kick-off. It was the beginning of the end.
    Actually, perhaps it was a good day after all.

    I lost sight of the importance of the day, because of going to Wembley for the first time. It wasn't until travelling back that the ramifications hit me. I've never let that happen again.

    I think a lot did that Ponty. Oh it was such a lovely day out etc and we had the same attitude in the Premier League. Let's just enjoy it etc. Too soft as fans and as a club.

    I was training in Kent for a tour of Northen Ireland when we battered them at St Andrew's, remember as though it was yesterday. In all the time I have been a Barnsley Fan ( 1979) that team IMO is probably the best I have seen ( All opinions of course, remember opinions are like arsehole's we all have one but all are slightly different. COYR

    I agree Portsmouth Tykes. That side was more equipped for life in the Premiership than the side that went up in 1996/97.

    But I wasn’t talking about our (my) behaviour, I (and the OP) was talking about the Ipswich fans. I found them quite arrogant and pompous
