Been for a bike ride earlier, did 26 (and a bit) miles... took me 3 hours and I’m absolutely f***ed. Have no idea how people can run that distance in 2 hours

Bit of both, mostly flat. The time also included me being refused entry to the KFC drive through at Manvers

There was a guy at front of the drive through queue telling people it was card only. It was him that told me I couldn’t go round on a bike. I was too tired to argue so I just left

I think the new thinking is that being outside and in the sunlight, you are very unlikely to pick up the virus, if at all.

When I was at uni ( some time ago!) I cycled from Preston to Barnsley in one day. No puncture repair gear, no water and in those days no mobile phone. Gawd knows what I would have done if I pulled a muscle or split a tyre! Legs were like jelly when I got to Barnsley but freewheeling down the pennines is excellent!

As a marathon runner I find running the 26.2 a lot easier than walking it. Less time on feet!
Although it depends on the pace you choose. If you go all out for a PB then you will be exhausted, but if you run at a low HR so you can have a conversation with the person next to you then it's not so bad. Well, apart from last 6 miles when you run out of glycogen :)

This week I have so far cycled 110km in 4hrs 50mins on an average of 7 resistance (Nordictrack U60)

    106.26km to be precise.
