FFS, this is why we always struggle at this level. We play well, **** it up and lose. We play **** and lose. Looks like we're in for another real tough season.

My mistake. Bravo Gerhard. Dropping the club's best players to make way for your friends and playing such a defensive formation has worked epically. Good job sir, bravo.

    Better?

Seems odd to blame the manager considering the two farcical red cards. It almost seems you have an agenda against Gerhard.

Tbh mate I agree with a lot of what you post on here but there was nothing Gerhard could do about Helik and Anderson getting sent off. Helik should never have tugged at their player and allowed the ref to make a decision and Anderson well not a lot to say really. Who knows if the outcome would have been different but we make things so much harder for ourselves. Reading are not a good side and we've gift wrapped them 3 points today. It appears we're in for another season of struggle unless the board spend some cash.

He picked the team that made us so ultra defensive. He took our attacking threat out of the side. No he can't be blamed for the individual mistakes but we were hardly looking like destroying reading before that from what I've been reading.

Post lockdown we would have scraped this game with 1-0 and Struber would have been lauded as a tactical genius. Lucky man or not good enough? I know which I think it is.

Ah, so you haven’t been watching. We had been all over Reading before the second red card. Granted not good decision making in the final third but think that’s more to do with the individuals than the manager.

If you are referring to Woodrow as our attacking threat then I just cannot get on board with that. Jordan Williams has as many goals in the last about 20 games. We scored twice midweek without Woodrow.

Sorry but I can’t see this as anything other than something personal with Struber. Is it because the owners you despise so much appointed him? Honestly interested.

Considering you haven’t watched the game. I would’ve thought you would’ve wound your neck in but of course not!

let’s be right. Set up well for the game, on top until 1st red (and still probably after) they score with first shot (off) target and somehow Struber is the problem? Also (and I do dislike this argument) but We bettered a team for a significant part of the game who will be paying a lot more in wages than we are. And you are still digging out the manager. I’m inclined to agree with the suggestion you have an issue with the manager. Probably due to the fact the current regime appointed him.

I understand the nuclear argument is about points earned and we have none but it’s more nuanced than that and you know it but it doesn’t fit your agenda.

    Bad day at the office.

9 men versus 12 (including the referee).

Shame we'll miss two centre backs now for 3 games. I guess will mean Jordan Williams & Halme in a 3. Hopefully Odour returning to fitness, if not I guess Ben Williams as wing back.

TBH the performance was decent for most of the game. We really do need a back to goal type striker though as an option & we need to make better use of set pieces.

Nope but I know which lineup he picked. It didn't work.

Maybe he was just extremely unlucky today and had we need had the spendings off we were about to score, who knows?

Ben Williams is unfortunately out for at least 6-7 months, possibly the whole season

To slag off Struber today without having seen the game is quite frankly ridiculous.

I know you're obviously obsessed with a need to crucify him as quickly as you can, but you're jumping on your bandwagon a bit quickly.

Last season you were slagging him off for having no emotion down on pitchside. That line of attack disappeared el pronto when he showed he was as up for it and as much as any of us.

He kept us in this league - did a brilliant job.

Today we were not negative at all - we got done by a couple of harsh refereeing decisions, otherwise we'd probably have been OK. We won't score much though cos we're very limited up front.
