when you buy a beer there apparently you had to pay one euro deposit in the plastic beer glass. The majority did not bother. So 3 enterprising bairns saw their opportunity.... they collected and took back 260..... good lads .

 

Nothing new in that. Used to collect pop bottles in Locke Park and take them back to get the deposit.

 

so did I, but they do not do it nowadays.
