442 magazine have released their list of top 50 football league players as chosen by FL supporters.

They ask the fans of every club to pick 3 players they see as the best in the FL from outside their club. Loanees allowed as long as they're from another FL club, with Wilfred Zaha and Jack Butland being the exception.

No Barnsley players, however the highest voted Barnsley player was Stephen Dawson

2 former Barnsley players made the list, Jamie Cureton at 50, and David Cotterill at 14.

Anyone want to guess the top 5? 4 championship players and a league 1 player? No real shock really.

Ince was number 1, Rhodes number 4. Vydra was discounted as he's on loan from a team outside the Football League.

Who the hell is Paddy Madden? I've never heard of him.

Yeovil striker, on loan I believe from Carlisle where he couldn't get a game. He scored twice for Carlisle in 18 months, and has scored at least 20 goals since Joining Yeovil in August.

I'm sorry, I think I misread the original post. It appears you said David Cotterill at number 14. Surely that's a misprint?!?

If he's the 14th best FL player and we don't have anyone in the top 50 then the list cannot be taken seriously at all.
